Design of pliek-u dryer using Dafa-type solar energy

چکیده

Abstract One of the food diversification strategies coconut commodity is to process it into Pliek U. U a typical Province Aceh, Indonesia, which in its processing stage requires drying process. So far, often conducted conventionally through direct (sun drying), so that produced susceptible dust and other dirt contamination. This research aimed design dryer using Dafa type solar energy. The energy used turbine ventilator with vertical axis wind equipped two collectors. had simple shape construction was arranged like letter S. While parts collector were collect from sun directly. In experiment, blank test carried out time range, namely 10.20 am 04.50 pm sunny weather, an interval 30 minutes for each temperature data recording. empty results showed average shelf 44.21 °C, 45.64 ambient 31.14 °C. initial revealed performance ability tool very effective maintaining during process, further tests materials may be out.
